Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic School is part of the Catholic Youth Athletic Association (C.Y.A.A.). We offer sports for boys and girls in grades 5-8. Students compete with teams from other schools in the diocese. If your child would like to participate in Grades 5-8 Catholic Youth Athletic Association Sports Program, please complete the Athletic Packet.  The Athletic Packet must be completed in its entirety and turned in for each school year.  Registration fees will be collected prior to the start of each sport’s season.

The Sports Program at OLPH is looking for coaches for the upcoming school year.  The Athletics Department would like to have all of our coaches lined up prior to the start of the school year. Please consider volunteering your service hours to OLPH as a coach. Coaching is a great way to become more involved in our school community, while making a positive impact on our athletes.  We need coaches for the following areas; contact Coach Ewell or Coach Andy if you have questions or need further information. or

Girls’ Volleyball in grades 5-8
Girls’ Softball in grades 5-8
Girls’ Basketball in grades 5-8
Boys’ Flag Football in grades 5-8
Boys’ Basketball in grades 5-8
Boys’ Baseball in grades 5-8

*All coaches must be compliant with Safe Environment Training. Click here for additional information about Safe Environment Training.

Athletic Packet:

All athletes MUST complete and turn in the Athletic Packet before signing up for any sport.  All athletes must have an updated Sports Physical Form.

Sign Ups:

Students will have a chance to sign up for sports during signup week prior to each season.  Signup weeks are indicated on the Sports calendar.  The signups will be available during PE classes that week.  If a student is absent on their scheduled PE day, Coach Andy and Coach Ewell will have the signups available in their offices all week.

Registration Fees:

Registration fees are due by the Friday of each signup week before practices begin.  Registration fees must be paid for each sports season.

Practices are held Monday through Thursday immediately after school on the OLPH campus.  Practices are held from 3:00-4:30.  Changes may be made to these times at the coach’s discretion.

Typically, teams will play 2 games per week, with at least 1 away game each week.  Schedules will be determined at the beginning of each season.
